She may have forged her image with post-punk attitude, but Gwen Stefani often professed motherhood as an equally fierce ambition. In May 2006, that dream came true with the arrival of first son Kingston James McGregor Rossdale. Now Gwen and hubby Gavin Rossdale await their second child, confirmed in January 2008, when she was reportedly in the 13th week of her pregnancy.

» People comparing Madonna's new record to Gwen
Posted on 07 May 2008 by Justin with 0 Comment(s) in category:
Instead of being a leader, Madonna seems more like a follower on "Candy Shop," chasing what has become Gwen Stefani's signature sound, for the most part. Stefani already did the sugar-themed album in 2006 with "Sweet Escape." Madonna even borrows the "tick tock," whistle and marching band samples that Stefani made central forces in her 2004 debut, "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." "Hard Candy" proves the adage "what goes around comes around." Madonna may have paved the way for her peers, but now she is fighting to stay on the path.

» Gavin rossdale finds marriage "challenging"
Posted on 03 May 2008 by Justin with 0 Comment(s) in category:
Gavin Rossdale finds marriage "challenging." The former Bush singer says he sometimes feels like "an appendage" because of the publicity his wife Gwen Stefani attracts - and hates being described as her "rocker hubby."
Gavin wrote on his MySpace page: "It's been a tough few years for me because I've been lost in how to define myself in the present tense. With that glare of the publicity on us, how can I not feel like an appendage at times?"
"It takes a tough man to be married to a force of nature like Gwen. 'Rocker hubby,' if I ever see that phrase again. It's challenging and it forces a lot of humility."
Gavin and Gwen met 12 years ago when No Doubt were supporting Bush on tour. Gavin and Gwen, who have been married for five years, have a two-year-old son, Kingston, and are expecting another baby in the summer.

» Gwen Stefani ranked most appealing female musician/designer
Posted on 18 Apr 2008 by Justin with 0 Comment(s) in category:
Gwen Stefani is sitting pretty among female musicians who also have contemporary fashion or accessories lines.
According to a poll conducted by Los Angeles-based E-Poll Market Research, Stefani has the most overall appeal, with 57%. She beat out Mandy Moore, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Lopez who took the 2nd through 4th spots respectively.
Stefani launched L.A.M.B. in 2003 and later debuted a secondary line, Harajuku Lovers.
A look from L.A.M.B.'s spring 2008 line is shown, left.
"Gwen's a trendsetter, people want to emulate her fashion," Gerry Philpott of E-Poll told WWD. "People also admire the way she balances her work and her life."
This spells good news for Stefani's high end line of bags we reported on earlier.
Eve, Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson, Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton rounded out the list, in that order.

» Gwen & Gavin Keeping Baby's Gender a Surprise
Posted on 11 Apr 2008 by Justin with 0 Comment(s) in category: News
Don't expect Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to be stocking up on baby items in pink or blue just yet. The couple, who are expecting their second child, will find out if they're getting a boy or a girl on delivery day, Rossdale said Wednesday.
"We don't know [the baby's gender]. It was a surprise last time so we're kind of working on that this time," he told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show (listen to the full interview here). "There are some [names] floating around the house, bouncing around the walls."
But will the new baby's name measure up to his brother's? "Not too crazy," said Rossdale, 42, who added that compared to a name like Kingston, "there's so much pressure on the poor guy or poor girl. Kingston set a pretty intense standard!"
The big brother-to-be, who turns 2 next month, has also been entertaining his parents with his growing vocabulary. "He speaks now," said Rossdale. "It's pretty cute. He's got a funny way of saying things and a funny voice. He's pretty vocal."
Stefani, 38, has described her son as a "chilled-out little guy ... he's super-cute and super-entertaining."
